Another 'What's this song?' thread

I’m looking find out the full lyrics (and artist) to a song used on an episode of Northern Exposure.
It’s played at the very end of "Ill Wind’ from season four.
Epguides.com is no help, as all they list are “A Funeral in My Brain” by David Schwartz and “There I Go Again” by Vinx. It’s definitely not either of those songs. I’ve tried Googling the lyrics, but am not finding it. I’m sure my beloved Dopers will have better luck.

There’s just a short snippet of lyrics, which are as follows:
“I would have had a broken heart, maybe it’s true…
We would have had a good head start, but strange as it may seem, I’m thankful for the used-to-be’s…
If I had found you first, I wouldn’t be the man I am, the lessons I have learned, are part of a much greater plan.
I couldn’t love you like I do, if I had found you first.”

Anyone?

Bumping for the daytime crowd.

Based on those lyrics, my guess is there might be people who know, but won’t admit it.

Secondly, it is important to know if you’re referring to the DVD, because the music is different from the actual broadcast episode (plus, wouldn’t it be in the credits if that’s the case?).

Yes, it’s played on the DVD version, and I know it’s probably a different song that was played for the original broadcast.
And no, it’s not in the credits.
