Anti-Americanism continued...?

A friend sent this ‘quiz’ to me recently. You may have seen it before. While I don’t make any claim to knowing that all of the points below are true, it does darken one’s perception about the US.

On top of this, I have just seen the film Bowling For Columbine, which only accentuates this darkened perception.

What is the great debate here? A similar list can be made for every country on the planet. I can probably also make a positive top 15 list for every country as well. It’s easy to take any number of historical facts, place them in whatever context you choose and draw an incorrect conclusion.

Not to mention that each one of these items is probably a Great Debate on it’s own.

I guess my question is what is the purpose of such a “quiz” other then mental masterbation? I’m I supposed to do something about these things or am I supposed to feel bad about being an American?
