Definitely a different flavour of hot, though, I’d disagree on subtle.
Ah, well, to each his own, anyway. If fewer people agree AH is a major hotty, that just increases my (sadly pretty much non-existant) chances with her. ^__^;
A guy B: Tommy Lee Jones. There isn’t a feature on his face that fits together but he still radiates ooomph.
Maybe I’m mistaking the concept behind the A category, but how about:
Pierce Brosnan: he’s classically handsome but (IMO) almost repellently mannequin-like. He doesn’t look REAL. Before his fans singe me to cinders, that quality gives him a certain credibility as Bond, i.e. a suave, barely-leashed sociopath. But I’ve never seen the man portray any convincing emotion. Gorgeous on the outside but nobody’s home.
As a type A I would have to say Cameron Diaz. She has a sexy body, a sexy voice, a hot face. But it just all comes together into a package that is uninteresting. She just seems to damn perfect to be a real woman, as just lacks sex appeal for some reason.
I actually find most supermodels to be pretty hot, even though they’re completely not my type nor anything approaching a league I can even imagine being within sight of mine.
However, Claudia Schiffer - well, she may be clearly an attractive beautiful woman, but she does absolutely nothing for me. Icky poo.
On the other hand, most famous unconventional-looking women are pretty darn hot in my book. Janeane Garofalo, Fairuza Balk, Ellen DeGeneres, k d lang… I even like Yeardley Smith, and she’s downright unique.
Type A: Just about every man that women are Supposed to drool over.
Brad Pitt, and whoever has always been thisyears flavor.
I don’t like pretty boys (obviously)
B: Me, except for the appealing part, evidently. Here’s one that I never understood but have always found compelling: Georgia O’Keefe. Go figure that one out. Also, given the utter loathing shown towards them on this board, I’ll also put the Olsen Twins in here, because I’m one of the few that I know of here that finds them to be getting rather foxy as teenagerdom does its job.
