That can’t be right - because the anti-vaxxer morons say that the reason polio went from a menace to almost having vanished in the mid 1950s was the same reason - better water treatment.
Can’t say I remember any change from back then.
But vaccines are so immoral! Don’tcha know they were made up from ground up dead baby parts handled by evil mad scientists in a creepy lab?
here’s the upshot… the amish do not vaccinate their children… 1 in 15000 rate for autism in their group, 1 in 100 autism in us with vaxxers.
mmr is the culprit for autism… why is it that a child will have almost 70 vaccines by the time he reaches 7? back in the 60 and 70’s maybe 5 shots at the most?
And like 0 in the 1760s and 1770s! And you don’t see anything about autism in any of the newspapers back then!
It’s a big pharma conspiracy, I tells ya!
What is the source for your claims?
Come on, you think he is going to answer? Nov 2018 join date?
And why didn’t they have any iPhones back in the 80s? Huh? HUH?
Why do you lie so blatantly? Do you hate children that much?
Well, he hasn’t disputed the thread title.
You don’t fight ignorance by fighting the ignorant, but by addressing the roots of ignorance. Antivaxxers are just a symptom of a much larger set of issues, and while thier particular conclusions are dangerous, it is not like they are pulled out of thin air. Our current world is awash in information, but it’s impossible for any single person to vet all that information, and there is no easy way to determine which people or domains are trustworthy, because there is deep corruption and very few examples of true integrity. Antivaxxers are just a tiny little bud on a much larger system of deeply embedded hyrad like running roots.
No. You’re essentially claiming that it is reasonable to be a conspiracy theorist. Basic critical thinking skills are sufficient for anyone to ascertain with complete certainty that vaccines are safe and effective, do not cause autism, and have saved millions of lives; and that we landed on the moon.
And sometimes you do have to fight the ignorant. There are loud hard-core anti-vaxxers who did not arrive at their view rationally, and who have no interest in facts or evidence. Ridiculing them is important and necessary, because when young parents may really be trying to figure out what’s right, it’s important to expose these lying scumbags for what they are.
explain the sudden rise in rates of autism in the last 15 years? or 20 should I say… do not attack or divert… just corroborate the reason for the frequency increase in autism
imagine you’re in a debating competition, you are debating against the premise that vaccines could cause a sudden rate increase in autism cases, so prove your case?
Convince us that you aren’t just talking shit-what are your cites?
Better understanding of what constitutes autism and a change in diagnosing criteria.
Disorders such as Asperger’s are now on the autism spectrum. That alone increases numbers.
Trying to teach a pig to sing, friends. Ain’t no arguing with True Belief.
Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she’s gone.
