Anti-vaxxers are ignorant scumbags that kill children

And now anti-vaxers have taken to wearing yellow stars to indicate they’re being persecuted like the Jews were during the Holocaust. This in response to NYC banning unvaccinated children from attending public schools.

Sure, that’s the same.

Another article on the subject

"Who’s next? The Christians who don’t want to to (sic) partake in abortion?” Mahairas added.

Right. Because not vaccinating your child is the same as not having an abortion?

Meanwhile, the Kunkel kid tried to Kunkel his way back into high school during a chicken pox outbreak there without being vaccinated (because dead babies from long ago, and because Catholicism), but the judge is keeping him out. KunkelDad says the church’s ruling that vaccination is a good thing “doesn’t mean nothing” to him.

Is he going to homeschool his kid in the use of doubleKunkelnegatives?

Samantha Bee just featured a segment on Anti-anti-vaxxers:

Some good news, showing the HPV vaccine is working very well - a study showing rates of cervical precancers (dysplasias) are dramatically declining.

Antivaxers whose attacks on the HPV vaccine have included the claim that it isn’t proven effective will now have to explain away this study’s findings. Hmm, maybe the drop in precancerous cervical lesions is entirely due to better nutrition and sanitation…

My autism diagnosis took over 3 decades. I have been told by various healthcare providers that for many many years girls were more likely to be diagnosed with mental health and personality disorders, instead of the autism that we actually have. This alone could cause quite a sharp rise in autism figures, even though, whether vaccinated or not, we could have been included on the count 40 years ago.

NY City is requiring mandatory vaccinations.

Gosh, I hope they have enough child-sized chairs with straps.

From the article, it appears that there may be a $1000.00 fine and possible imprisonment. Whether physical force could be used is unclear.

I would think that the city would be reluctant to go that far. I suspect that they’re intentionally being vague on that point.

I strongly doubt they will strap people down and inject them. The government has a lot more moderate tools in its box (including threats of fines and imprisonment, but also in more extreme cases exclusion and quarantine) before it gets to that stage.

It’s the same with many other internet pits. I follow the internet editions of several Spanish newspapers and each of them has this one user who waits for any articles mentioning women in any form (it may be an interview to a movie director about her last movie; one to another in which he mentions the female star several times; one about ergonomics; or about whether Queen Letizia and Queen Sofia hate each other’s guts or not) and posts the exact same rant. There are others, but those particular fellows are usually the first comment on any and all articles mentioning women. If you don’t realize “wait a minute, this particular rant sounds familiar” and start checking, the impression you come away with is that there’s an enormous amount of jerks who read those particular newspapers.

Nope, just the one jerk… and for two of them, it may actually be the same one (different username, same copypasted rant about women being privileged because our life expectancy at birth is higher; personally, I think it’s a pity he hasn’t already surpassed his).

More likely you’d need to strap down the crazy, ignorant adults.

No forcible vaccination will occur.

Forgive me if this has been referenced before in this thread, but I just ran across it.

According to this ABC news article, a major factor in the spread of misinformation thru the orthodox Jewish community is the 40-page printed booklet, The Vaccine Safety Handbook. Read it and weep; it’s a very slick presentation of all the falsehoods of the anti movement – vaccines cause autism, they are ineffective, dangerous to children, are not the cause of improved health in the last 100 years (improved sanitation prevents measles), too many shots at once, measles is not a dangerous disease, no one dies from measles but vaccines kill, try herbs and homeopathy instead, etc., etc.

The iDJiT-in-Chief just came out in favor of vaccination for measles. How long until he claims to have always been in favor of vaccines?

Well, if deliberately and knowingly conning people into taking risks with their kids by refusing to vaccinate them, thereby putting their own kids, as well as other people’s kids at risk isn’t a vicious, criminal thing to do, then I don’t know what it is.

Seen on a T shirt today: “Vaccines Cause Adults”
