My mother’s estate is wrapping up (after a year) and some items still remain. My mother loved fine china, silver, glassware and linens. The china was mostly bought up by Replacements, Ltd, as were the 4 sets of sterling flatware. The best of the glassware (some absolutely fabulous Moser and other pieces) are scheduled for auction later this year and next year. Which leaves the linens. Does anyone know of an auction house or website that specializes in fine linens?
I do not know of anything myself, but if you like I will ask on a message board I belong to where a lot of people know about antique textiles. I’d love them myself, but I probably can’t afford them. PM me if you want me to look into it.

All kidding aside, I know at the college where I teach is a fashion program, and they love to find old linens like you are mentioning to use in clothing designs. I would think that by posting them on EBay, you would get people who want to keep them as-is, and others who might like to use them for clothing - so it could be a nice little bidding war.
