This will be my first chance to vote for president as well. If I had to vote right now, I’d go with Bush, but I’ll wait and see.
I’m still undecided but Bush is a serious possibility. If Rumsfeld does get the axe, and is replaced by someone I respect, then most likely I will go with Bush. If Rummy keeps his job then I really don’t know.
Oh, don’t you know? The leftist response to this is " They said they’d leave if Bush was elected, but since he stole the election…"
If Bush wins this election by a landslide, I’ll start collecting donations to help them hire movers.
Just curious what you consider a very long time. Bush has been in office 3 years. I hardly consider that a very long time. Maybe you can hitch a ride with Alec Baldwin. He’s got the cash to set you up for awhile. Erm…uh, wait…
Voting for Bush again
Huh, name-calling from a teacher of young kids. Maybe the parents sometimes do need to know just whom they entrust children to.
And damnit, Flickster, you typed faster than I could preview! :smack:
Noam Chomsky referred to Kerry as Bush-lite. I agree.
I keep waiting for some really substantial difference between the two – not Kerry’s rhetoric, shouting, promises, accusations all seemingly based, paradoxically, in Bush’s incompetence and omnipotence (Bush is responsible for gas prices; Bush is responsible for Europeans not going into Iraq, Bush is responsible . . . )
Despite clumsiness and missed steps, I fundamentally agree with most of this administrations stands, and until I hear some true difference in future policy from Kerry that might change my mind, I am voting for Bush.
sigh five more months of this. Can’t we – win or lose for our side – whichever side that is – just have the election now and be done with it?
squeegee, we’re riding the same bus. This process is entirely too drawn out. Maybe it made sense in the days when news traveled slowly and decisions were made based on a single stump speach. But in today’s mass-media/internet world, this drawn out schedule is nuts. I’d like to see the entire process take no more than 3 months. Do we really need the party conventions any more? I think not. 6 weeks for primaries, general election 6 weeks later. Done.
Here are the rules from here on:
- Post here if you are planning to vote for Bush. Period.
Breaking this rule will get you an official warning.
Yes, I’ll be voting for Bush.
I ain’t voting for the shrub again!
Here’s 1,170 reasons why you shouldn’t vote for the shrub either!
Sigh…, I don’t like Bush, but will be voting for the lesser of two evils (imho).
sigh
You were warned about this, and yet you persist. Do not break the rules again, please.
I will vote for Bush. Two or three times, if all goes according to plan!
Huh?
Czar, check the location. Maybe some of the “air” from Oregon has reached him? Maybe he’s slow on the uptake?
That or tear him a new asshole.
Again, not only voting for Bush, I’ve already donated $400 so far to the campaign.
Yeah slick, I’m slow on the uptake. It’s a birth defect. Please enlighten me.
Yes, I will be voting for Bush.
Regards,
Shodan
iamme99, I am refering to this post I made just two previous to the one you posted.
Anyone else need an explanation?
As of this moment, I may post to this thread without receiving an official warning. However, I reserve the right to change my mind over the next five months.
