Any Aussies watching Rush?

I only watched it because it had characters I liked. Then it grew on me. I figured “if this were an American cop show I’d be bored.”

I probably would be, but I’m in anyway. It’s like NCIS. Not a new story but I like it. It’s character-ey, and I like them.

I’m about to watch the season finale. I hear there will be a season two.

I’m glad.

Anything else Aussie I should be watching?

I watched a few episodes of Rush, ticked off the cliches, went away again. It really didn’t grab me; I haven’t felt the lack of watching it over the last few weeks.

I wanted to like it, but just couldn’t. It didn’t take long before I hated the characters.

“You’ve gone out of focus again!”

“She’s stolen the bread rolls!”

.

Never mind.

I rarely watch television (aprt from documentaries and really old movies) so can’t help. Please note, this is not cultural snobbery, I just don’t get time. It’s great being retired.

What do you hate about them?

I’d like it if they explored the characters more. I see a lot of Josh, but I’d like to know more about the others. Back story stuff. They interest me enough to wish for it. I hate this trend of 13 episode series/seasons.

Honestly? I just found them irritating (acting, script, and just something undefinable!) on so many levels that it was an all-over ‘hate’ before long. Not any one major trait, sorry.
