So I was changing some parameters on my BHS-3000 and at the end, I meant to change my installer access code.
I know I backspaced over it, therefore deleting it, but I must have exited programming without entering a new code. Is there a default code, like 00000 or 123456 that the Brinks system defaults to?
I assume you tried what it was just in case removing it all doesn’t make a change.
I did try it. It was the last 5 digits of my account #, which is inked in on the control panel.
That’s the main reason I wanted to change it. In retrospect, I should have just taken some nail polish remover or “goof-off” type product and just removed the ink.
Eh, since I got the parameters dialed it (for this time), I guess it wont bother me until the next change, such as adding another sensor.
FTR, it’s been a local system for a while, so I have no contract to call Brinks and have them come out. I figured I would try here first.
