…I grew up with the guy who invented Stupendous Man.
Oh, wait - we’ve done the “famous people we’ve met” thing before, haven’t we???

And we all get free copies, right?
Ok, I’ve always known aha wasin a band but would it be an invasion of privacy, to know what band?
The Five Americans of Western Union fame. Say, what happened to aha anyway? Haven’t seen much from him here lately. Is he back in the studio or something?
Elenfair is very well-known in The Canadian Theatre. Her most recent triumph was in The Secret Garden.
His current job (IIRC he’s a school band director) doesn’t allow him the time to hang here. Bummer.
I’m not a celebrity, but I play one in my own mind.
I am a published author, which is light years removed from celebrity. I’m already relentlessly self-promoting, as this post demonstrates.
You mean building that interociter doesn’t qualify?
CKDextHavn is really Cary Grant posting from beyond the grave.
Oh, in case anyone cares, I am Batman.
Sure… plus $16.95 shipping & handling.
My real name is actually Elle Macpherson.

Wow, I didn’t know that, are we allowed to ask what she’s written and what her published name is?
Me and Tommy Two-Ties wrote a dictionary (WARNING: Korean text! You have been warned!Oh! And you have to scroll down to see my name, cause they could only put one name in as author, and TTT came first alphabetically… even though I wrote all the good parts!) Does that count??
No? I didn’t think so…
Astroboy wanders away and spitefully kicks the “D” in Straight Dope as he passes, muttering to himself in a bitter fashion…
[sup]Stupid “Straight Dope”! I’m a celebrity! CHOKE I MUST be… everyone I know knows who I am!! SOB I don’t need them! I don’t need ANYBODY! I just want to be… ALONE!![/sup]
I think I was a celebrity in a previous life, does that count?"
heh heh heh heh heh

Eve is IRL Eve Golden, enemy of Ignorance of Classic Movies everywhere, and author of four books on leading ladies of classic film (including Theda Bara). She also wrote a column for Movieline magazine, I believe, but don’t ask her about it.

I thought there was some rule stating you had to be a celebrity to be allowed to post on the SDMB.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
I write for a newspaper in an important place. And nobody has ever heard of me either.
I think I’ll go choke with Astroboy14 now.
