I did a search for the word “Kentucky” and didn’t find a specific thread addressed to this, so:

Any Dopers from or living in Kentucky?
Mrs. Rhosis and I live in California, Kentucky (not a typo, California is a small community 20 or so miles south of Cincinnati).

I’m originally from Louisville and attended UK. Right now, I live in California – the state.

Up until about six months ago, I lived in Frankfort. Lived there for five years. A friend and I used to go to Cincinnati to a neat little magic shop, so we should have been close to California a few times.

I’m not in Kentucky, but I am only about 30 minutes from the border.

My SO is from Murray, home of Murray State University, is SW KY. We go there once a year. (directions- go to the middle of nowhere, take a left)
