My mom and I talked about it, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. We want to make sure we’re back in plenty of time to watch the ballgame. And it’s going to rain.
This is the first I’m hearing about it but too many cons to balance the possible pros–plus, I love my home, but SF is I think too partisan for me to trust that this will be in the genuine spirit of the Stewart/Colbert event. I hope it goes off smoothly and easily, but I easily see it devolving into something more typical of what I expect around here: perfectly fine and appropriate given most issues, but the wrong time & place for this. We’ll see…
That’s a big “maybe”, kimera. First I’ve heard of it too.
If I do go, I will be wearing my new orange, black (charcoal, really) and white winter jacket (not Giants gear, just coincidence) and, if it rains I will be using a tiny, fluorescent green umbrella.
