Have any of you ever used Game Maker 7.0 Lite?
I’m really struggling with what I think are basic maneuvers.
I feel like I need a recursive function, but I don’t think one is available.
I’ll try to describe this the best I can…
imagine to objects on your grid and you want to move them one grid square over to the right.
i.e. you want

to be
_:)
the problem i need to treat each object individually. If I don’t move first, then I can’t move 
because it will fail because of the collision (as the hasn’t moved yet.
Ugh… that’s confusing. If there are any Game Maker users out there willing to give me a hand, I could sure use it. I can email my current game file as needed.
