In my constant quest for kids books, I was wondering if any of you out there have ever run across a really good book with a Thanksgiving theme.
Perfect paranoia is perfect awareness.

Well, this one is not Thanksgiving-themed, but I used to read it every year at Thanksgiving, as that is the beginning of the story. It is called “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”. I would read it probably five times between Thanksgiving and Christmas and work myself into a frenzy. Sorry, all I could think of off-hand.
This isn’t a book, but Truman Capote wrote a story called “The Thanksgiving Visitor.” I think it’s good. BTW, this, like all of his stories about living with his aunts as a child, is proof that, before he turned himself into some weird caracature on the NY social scene, Truman was a great writer.
