Any idea what these objects are? (in MH17 wreckage)

See photo here. I’m talking about the round things.

There are five of them, and they were made in Bulgaria. A photo of a damaged single one lying on the ground separately was speculated to be some kind of missile part. That’s obviously not the case, but I am curious as to what they are.

Whole photo, for context and scale. I would estimate them to be 4-5 inches across.

Perhaps 100mm (just under 4")?

Could well be. And yes, the 100 figure is probably 100mm. Hadn’t thought of that.

As a total WAG, I was thinking foot pads off of some sort of cabinet.

I’m 99% certain they’re floor polishing pads, as Isilder suggested. Mystery solved. Thanks. Link to thread that sparked enquiry.

What kind of board is that? People agreed they were “maybe rubber bumpers” but no one suggested “rubber baby buggy bumpers”?

Sheesh.

You mean ruggy bagy bubby bmprs, right? Or is that the Bulgarian term?

F1 is a model/system of polisher. SO its more than 99%
100 is the grade … like the grade of sand paper.
