Sorry for not updating. I’ve moved back to the family home very recently and I’ve been busy unpacking boxes and trying to sort things out.
Thank you, everyone!
I’m more secure in food and money now, so won’t need groceries. Thank you.

Thanks for updating. I am very glad that you’re safe.
Great news. I’ve not commented but I’ve been following the thread and I’m really happy you’re not on the streets.
That sounds like very good news. Being homeless is too tough and I can’t imagine it in a northern climate.
Yay!
I imagine moving back home was not something you necessarily wanted to happen - but at least it’s safe, and you’re with people who know each others quirks.
I hope the asshole ex-landlord’s ceiling caves in.
I hope the new tenant works nights giving group drum lessons. The landlord deserves it.
You’ve been on my mind Emily and I’m very relieved to know you’ll not be homeless. Thanks for updating us.
I’m glad you have a place, Emily.
I’m really glad you managed to get away from that awful apartment, and that you still have a roof over your head.
I love it when a favorite drama (with an awesome protagonist) has a good resolution!
Congrats! I got out of a bad living situation once, and my health really improved, along with so many areas of my life. It felt like I was starting to get over PTSD…
I’m very glad you’re inside, and have food etc. I hope you get along with whatever other family members are living there.
Thanks for the update, Emily! Hope your life keeps looking up.
I’m glad to hear you’ll be safe. Best wishes on resettling and moving forward!
Best wishes Emily, I hope you can take this time to find the place you need to be.
Thank you for the update. I’m really glad this ended with you under a roof.
Thank you, everyone!
I would like to move out on my own again eventually, but things are all right for now.
I’m glad to see that you have a place to live, and are safe.
Amen!
Can you hang some blankets or quilts on the walls to help muffle sound both directions? You can also buy noise muffling foam things but I would think that would be more expensive. Blankets or quilts could be purchased cheaply from thrift stores, even if they are stained you can layer them for more sound muffling , my mother uses straight pins hammered in to hang stuff on the walls so that is pretty cheap. Cheap carpets on the floor, again you can layer some to enhance sound muffling, Ugly carpet hiding.
I see you moved back home but you might be able to use these suggestions when you are able to try moving out again. Bonne chance! ( I have been taking French lessons, hpe that is right.
)
Thank you for the advice. I’ll keep it in mind the next time I move.
