I had a really great day yesterday with thanks in large part to the ChiDopeFest.

The ASMRTMIwhatever religion is a weird one and their zealots’ television viewing habits are unspeakable;
The shift from dedicated higher mathematics instruction to applied engineering coursework is underway though similarly, three’s a crowd at the Dags urine trough.
There was general consensus on Wrigleyville douchery, rape is wrong (how did that come up again?), Paul-eena is wrong, separate checks is wrong, Greek pizza is right (one vote abstaining), we miss Lochdale and the tough call faced by those in white panel vans vis-à-vis traffic-wandering toddler situations.
There was some dissent on hoppy beers, board avatars, gyros, the safety of Belmont Ave at night and Ken Burns but nothing to get stabby over.
Trying to decide whether the drunk guy roaring to himself was ‘wasted,’ ‘gone’ or ‘beyond shitfaced,’ I decided it must have been equal parts. This morning, I was wishing we used one the extra name tag labels to make a hilarious Kick Me sign for his back. Wait, maybe that was Sarafeena?

With our solid start to the afternoon, the rest of the day was really pleasant. I smoked a crapton of food and had an old friend from out of town visit. Between kicking it with the neighbors and Cha-Cha Sliding into the night, I sold $300 in raffle tickets for next year. I awoke today with a manageable headache and no mysterious injuries for once. Heading to the Fall thread now, see ya there.
Had a great time, sorry I had to get out of there, but commercial airlines wait for no mere mortal.

Sorry to have missed it. VERY sorry. I spent the day at the rehab center, and my m-in-l was having a psychotic episode because of urinary tract infection. Wasn’t fun. Sigh.
