I have all the Fantagraphic collections from the 1980-90s and the 20 issues from the 2000s. I kinda lost the thread after a couple editions of New Stories but I reread all of the Locas stories a few years ago and still dig them. The Luba stories are a little tougher to get through.
Took me a second to figure out this was about the comic, not the band (loved both but haven’t kept up with either in this century)
I also only knew about the band. I only know them for “So Alive.” That song slaps.
Just logged in after a while to say that Love & Rockets is one of my favorites for decades, and one I need to catch up with. Thanks for the NYT link!
Heheh, I’m another who thought of only the band when I read the title. Saw them last year! I have had/read a few of the comics over the years, though. Thanks for the link!
