I watched a big chunk of the video without figuring out much of what he was complaining about. But with some googling, too:
It seems that he is Jewish and outspoken in support for Israel in the current war. Pro-Hamas people are getting him canceled from acting roles because of that. And he is saying that he is considering voting for Trump in 2024 if something isn’t done about the large amount of antisemitism in the US right now.
Wasn’t the Trump side the “Jews will not replace us” guys??

I cheered when he yelled at Trump… when some Proud Boys attacked an LBGTQ+ Crowd and were beaten bloody and to the ground.
I also know The Middle East is Fly Paper: you can’t win discussing it.

Basically no-one is pro-Hamas. They may be pro-Palestinian. They may just be against the way Israel is handling this situation. But they are not pro-Hamas.
I’m not clicking a Fox News link, so I don’t know if he said those words or not. But it does sound like he’s calling people antisemitic if they are not pro-Israel in this conflict. Both types of rhetoric are ridiculous.
It should not be so hard to separate support for Jewish people and support for the actions of the Israeli government. If someone overseas spoke out against the US’s foreign policy actions, I wouldn’t think it meant they were anti-American. When people speak out against “China”, I don’t assume it means they are bigoted towards Asians, even though that is a genuine thing.

Also, actor-comedian-sports commentator Michael Rapaport, who routinely uses social media to bash Trump and his supporters, has instead been bashing proponents of a ceasefire.
“Hamas doesn’t give a f*** about anything except for the destruction of Israel and the destruction and death of all Jews,” he said a week ago in a video posted on X.
Such sentiments led to an online war of words between him and reliably progressive actor John Cusack. After the latter posted on X on October 18 that taking Israel’s word for it that it didn’t bomb a hospital in Gaza “won’t cut it,” Rapaport posted: “Hey @johncusack do me a favor and focus your voice on freeing the Israeli hostages captured by terrorists 10 days ago.”
Cusack’s lengthy response included, “I’ve known you a long time … do I look like a f****** rube? Don’t lecture me on morals—yr gonna loose (sic) … Don’t tell me to condemn Hamas again—or how to focus my voice—you f****** fool. I want everyone to stop killing and dying.”
Tons of people are pro-Hamas. I count everyone that tears down pictures of Israeli hostages in that group.

That’s the problem with wars: they’re started and fought by idiots. Geniuses may be among the peacemakers afterward, but theirs is a forlorn hope.
Dude. I was correcting misinformation. Misinformation that a lot of people genuinely believe. Misinformation I think is being deliberately spread by sources such as Fox News and others to make those who disagree with Israel’s actions seem like villains.

Oh, and since I apparently accidentally quoted you, @FinsToTheLeft, I’ll simply say that I would not jump to that conclusion. I suspect they removed the posters because they thought they were making it seem like only Israelis were victims. And they didn’t think it through.
But, even if they are pro-Hamas, the vast, vast majority of people condemned their actions. Hardly this huge pocket of pro-Hamas antisemites this guy seems to think are keeping him from getting work.
Heck, there are plenty of examples of anti-Israel actors getting fired.
People who openly support Hamas may be relatively rare in the West, but Hamas fellow travelers and useful idiots are legion. I don’t blame Rappaport for not making the distinction.
Cusack is f****** awesome and he’s right: his morals Are beyond reproach. He’s a right guy in many respects. I met him once & he’s really cool but I got star struck and spoke like a gibbering idiot. Happens.
Also, revisiting his quote, wouldn’t I like all the killing to stop? All the hostages released? That the Terrorists be arrested and jailed? That the citizens of Israel act to oust the corrupt Bibi and restore their courts and democracy? That the peoples of each state find a way to deal with each other equally and fairly and in peace? That the dehumanising hate speech and racist rhetoric used by both (and outside instigators from other countries) end and that the peoples involved move on towards making this world a better place?

My wife has been on the phone with the cops 3 times this week because someone tore down the posters in our neighbourhood and replaced them with swastikas. Her grandparents spent the war in Vichy France counterfeiting documents to get other Jews out, meanwhile, their siblings didn’t leave Poland and time and half were murdered.
I respond to a post on Reddit yesterday in r/legaladvicecanada to someone who was ripping down hostages posters and assaulted someone in the process and was looking for pro-bono defence.
