I usually put my better photos (and earlier attempts at drawing) up on my Deviant Art account. Do any other dopers do the same with their art? Is there a Doper group? If not, is there enough of us to start one?
I checked out your gallery and added one of your pics to my favorites. Sometimes I wonder about nature photography. How skillful is it to take a beautiful picture of something incredibly beautiful to begin with? I guess it doesn’t matter.

It is mostly 3d pictures I have made for D&D games.
I think the skill is very much in deciding how best to capture that beauty, and I’m the first to admit I’m not terribly good at it.
I’m not very diligent in maintaining my gallery, but it has a few miscellaneous things that I’ve worked on, mostly stuff associated with short films.

It features near-naked superheroines getting knocked unconscious by villains and odd occultic critters. I have a bunch of heroines, but my main gal is Panther Girl. I dreamed her up in the early 1970s. I actually offered her to Marvel in a fan letter that I wrote to the editors of the original “Shanna the She-Devil” series. If they had acted on my suggestion, she would have been the first mainstream African-American superheroine, predating Storm of the X-Men by a few years. I never heard back from them, though…
