They are erl’s Band o’ the Week™, it seems… I just can’t stop listening to them. Mistle Thrush mp3’s (Mods: from the band, not filesharing!). Right now Super Refraction is pretty much on repeat (that’s the bottom left disc picture on the link).
I first saw the band when The Cranes stopped by the Boston area (ahhh, the Cranes) and they were the opening set. Fantastic, though for some reason it wasn’t until yesterday that I remembered I had some of their songs and queued them up.
If you got time for a download and listen, I recommend sampling “Stupid Song”, “Yellow Day”, or “Escapades in Glass”.
