willing to help me tackle a project? I have a bunch of pictures of baseball players that I downloaded to use as generic pictures with Baseball Mogul. In order to be generics, I wanted to remove logos and names but some of them are beyond my ability. I thought I had help from someone on the Sports Mogul boards but I haven’t heard from him since I sent the pics that were too complicated for me. So, I’m extending my plea. Any Dopers want to give me a hand?
I may be able to help, though I’m a little rusty. I do, however, have all the manuals, etc. handy, so I can look up whatever I have forgotten.

What version of Photoshop do you use?
My version is the 5.0 LE that came with my scanner. Don’t get me wrong, I can do the editing but the problem is getting all of them to come out decent afterwards. What I’m aiming for are pics that don’t look like they’ve been retouched unless one zooms in. I downloaded some 400 pics and about a tenth of that are ones where my editing comes out obvious.
I’d be willing to try a few out for you Jeff if you want to send me Jpegs. My e-mail’s in my profile.
No promises, but I spend hours tinkering with my own photos, so it’d be a nice break to work on somebody elses.

OK, my five volunteers here have mail and I also found another on the Mogul boards that can help. There were 24 pics that I couldn’t get to come out right and they’ve been divided amongst the six of you. If you follow the link I gave above and click on the pic titled 0H0, you’ll get an idea of what I’m trying to do.
