Gotta give props to MJF for his promo last night on Adam Cole. He had several “Oh, he went there” moments. He didn’t mention WWE or NXT specifically, but he did name drop Vince McMahon, who didn’t think Cole was main event material and considered making him Keith Lee’s manager. He also said Cole had the frailty and physique of a crack whore. Cole indeed hasn’t fully fleshed out after recovering from injuries, but dammmmmn. Cole didn’t lack confidence in his comebacks, but he didn’t go nearly as low as MJF.
MJF also once called Takeshita “Take-a-shit-a.”
CM Punk’s re-re-return to the ring is next Saturday at the debut episode of Collision, where he’ll be teaming up with FTR against Bullet Club, represented by Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Samoa Joe.
The Chicago crowd is going to go apeshit for him no matter what. Hopefully he’ll be able to act like an adult this time.
MJF is definitely good on the microphone and I’ve never seen what was so great about Adam Cole. No idea how he hangs on to a trophy like Britt Baker… (punctuate with your finger here) D!..M!..D! But MJF is too tiny to make it to the big time. Sure, Vince would hire him tomorrow if he was available, but he’ll look like a child even next to other midget wrestlers like AJ Styles. Cole is also too small, all of the pillars have a home in the Lilliputian AEW, the WWE not so much. Love the crack whore dig though. Was Cole implying that MJF stuffed his trunks? Pretty good counter punch if that was it.

Apparently Asuka’s title has the words “Women’s Undisputed Championship” on it, much like Roman’s has the words “Undisputed Championship” on his.

On this week’s NXT, Baron Corbin defeated Ilja Dragunov to become #1 contender to the NXT Championship, and it was announced that Seth Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight Title against Bron Breakker on next week’s NXT.
for the first time, i actually watched the last nxt event (the same night of the Saudi thing)and yeah great talents that weren’t ready for prime time …but the dumbest thing was the two german or russian guys putting on an s&m display and the one getting tied up in the ropes that looked like he could have pulled his arms out at any time and yeah if you’d ever watched old WCW/nwa you’d know breaker was a Steiner …there’s a reason his dad was called “the dog-faced gremlin”
