Any Pro Wrestling Fans in the Audience? (Multiple promotions) (Part 2)

RICOCHET IS ALL ELITE!

The crowd popped big time and fireworks went off. He’s much more in his element here.

Nigel McGuinness also made a return to the ring. He looks pretty cut, but he’s gotten really rusty. It looked like his opponents were waiting for him to remember what to do.

I’m surprised Bryan won the title - he’s currently working without a contract, and he’s stated that he needs to get neck surgery soon. My guess would be he wrestles maybe once or twice on Dynamite in the next few weeks, then drops it at Wrestledream (which is in Tacoma this year, so either a rematch with Swerve or a match with Darby Allin to make it the battle of the hometown boys).

Or maybe he’ll drop it to Christian Cage. Cage can promote the feud by discussing what a superior father figure he is in promos, provoking DBD to hang on to the title as an example to his children.

Supposedly, Tony Kahn talked him into winning the title at the 11th hour. DBD didn’t want to be another ex-WWE guy taking the AEW gold, but sometimes a famous name needs to add gravitas to a young promotion.

Sid Vicious has passed away at the age of 63.

He was a former WWF and WCW Champion, two-timd WrestleMania main eventer, and was even a member of the Four Horsemen.

wow all the 80s and 90s guys are going now …

Drew McIntyre had a nice, well researched line in his promo:

“He’ll talk about how little Timmy flew 239,000 miles from the Moon to see his Lord and Savior, CM Punk.”

The Moon is, in fact, about that distance away. Good job, Drew.

Am I nuts, or is the #1 contender’s tournament just a convoluted way to get to Breakker vs. Reed?

you know i like the guy but when are they going to let him use his name ? i mean we all know he’s a Steiner by now. it just annoys me for some reason …

Rick Steiner is a transphobic prick, so if they never mention his name on air again then so much the better.

Bash in Berlin was pretty good. Rhodes/Owens, Punk/McIntyre and Gunther/Orton were all excellent matches. In fact, there wasn’t a bad match on the card.

We have a title change.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
New Champions: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (2nd reign, both collectively and individually)
Former Champions: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn

Belair and Cargill ended the 77-day reign of Fyre and Dawn which started at Clash at the Castle on June 15, when Fyre and Dawn ended their 1st reign by defeating Zoey Stark and Shayna Bayzler in a triple-threat match.

Did anybody see the match where Gunther blew up and Randy had to carry him through an extended stall?

Joe Hendry sadly failed to win the NXT title tonight. I know the chances of putting the title on someone who’s under contract to another company were slim to nil, but it would’ve made things a lot more interesting and made a great setup for a wider NXT vs. TNA feud.

I’d like to see Wentz and Miguel xfered to NXT, just so they can make more money for their talent. It seems Wentz is forgiven for his Hitler pic and domestic abuse allegations, and Miguel remained a free agent when Lee and Wentz left TNA.

so since Mami and the other guy aren’t in Judgment Day anymore …its just going to be a job squad now?

Reports say Bronson Reed was pulled from the triple threat match on RAW because he was diagnosed with covid.

And Odyssey Jones is no longer on WWE’s roster page.

NOBODY replaces Big E.

That’s too bad. New Day is struggling for relevance now. Kofi and Woods need a big man to bring the heat. I Big E allowed to work at ringside?

I know I was personally invested in the storyline of whether Xavier would actually turn on Kofi, and now without Odyssey, I assume the answer is no.

Meltzer doesn’t know anything either.

someone did something bad if they’re not saying " we’re sorry it didn’t work out but we wish him well in his future endeavors "
