Any Pro Wrestling Fans in the Audience? (Multiple promotions) (Part 2)

here we go apparently hes been gone right after his last appearance

Damian Priest was almost Prince Namor. VKM said no (probably).

After retaining the championship against Jack Perry in the main event of All Out, BCC ran in to protect Bryan from a cash-in by Christian - but once the Patriarchy had fled, Mox and Claudio turned on Bryan and beat him senseless while PAC stopped Wheeler Yuta from helping Bryan.

William Regal would be very disappointed.

Or he would praise Mox and Claudio for their initiative and establishing themselves as top dogs, being ruthless enough to turn on their closest friend.

On his way out, Regal turned on Moxley as a warning and as Moxley’s last lesson. Took a few years, but Moxley learned. Actually, that’s pretty fast for Moxley.

It was announced today that Raw is cutting back to two hours from October until when it moves to Netflix next year.

IMO, it should stay at two - there’s far too much padding and talky segments in the show as is, and AEW has shown that a 2-hour show can be much tighter and more entertaining.

WWE is bringing back Saturday Night’s Main Event this December.

i always thought it should of never left … NBC should have told Michaels to suck it … i mean they only did it right before PPVs anyways

I just found out today from a friend of mine that Olympia now has its very own indy promotion - a new group called Oblivion Wrestling. Their home venue is a middle school gym and they’ve only run a few shows so far, but they’ve been able to attract the likes of TJ Perkins and Lio Rush, along with some regionally-known wrestlers I’ve seen at DEFY shows.

Their next show is in late October and I think I’ll check it out for the sake of supporting a local business.

New WWE recruits from AEW although im unsure as to why I mean more lucha midcarders ?

Jeff Hardy wore some Bray Wyatt Fiend facepaint at the most recent TNA taping.

I hate Chase U. I hate the screamy girl. I turned off NXT with extreme prejudice when their match started. Just have nails scraping across chalkboards instead. It’s less annoying.

Summerslam is going to two nights next year.

I know the acrobatic style is popular in wrestling nowadays, but it tends to make most matches look too alike. LWO at least comes up with something different like the bow and arrow thing with the ring ropes and one guy being launched.

I’d like to see more matches like the Last Monster Standing match between Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed. They aren’t pretty, but I popped every time something was destroyed. I like ugly cavemen matches, like the old days of Vader vs Stan Hansen. Scare the audience a little.

If you want to see a ring get absolutely destroyed, watch NJPW’s Bullet Club vs. United Empire wargames match from earlier this year. The damn thing was a literal safety hazard by the time the match was over.

Killswitch of AEW, the wrestler formerly known as Luchasaurus, is in a bad way with double pneumonia. He was only a few days away from permanent lung damage.

AEW’s weekly shows and PPVs will be available on HBO Max starting next year for all you cord-cutters out there.

Correct, but the PPVs will be available at a discounted rate for Max subscribers - they won’t be included with the program.

Still gonna be a better deal than paying $60 per show.

Speaking of PPVs, I got my ticket for Wrestledream next weekend. I’m a little disappointed that Moxley is getting the title shot instead of Darby, but if this is gonna be Bryan’s final match (which it very well may be since he needs neck surgery for the second time and that tends to be a career-ender) then I want to be there for it.

Starting next year I can watch Raw and AEW again. Hulu ditched Smackdown, and last I checked (about 2 weeks ago), Peacock was about 2 months behind. I wonder if NXT will be on the CW app.
