I understand that the US Census doesn’t ask about religion (is this true?). Is there some unbiased source that could sum up wealth and poverty by religious denomination?

PF,
Thank you. This answers some of my questions very nicely.
This is a true story, not a foaf. Several years ago I was looking at a new condo development which had condos in three price ranges: inexpensive, moderate, and expensive. Each of the three had a model set up showing how it would look fully furnished. When I checked out the “library” of the expensive model I noticed a book entitled Why I Am An Epicopalian. I made a point of looking for that book in the moderate’s library and instead found Why I Am A Catholic. As you can imagine, I was eager to see what was in the inexpensive model. There it was: Why I Am A Baptist. Make of this what you will.
