Ok, actually only 98% Orthodox Quaker and 95% Reform Quaker. I’m 100% Liberal Christian and only 70% Conservative Evangelical Christian (which might explain my differences with Assemblies of God).
The real shocker to me though was that I was more Hindu - 87% than Buddhist - 85%, and more of each of these than Conservative Evangelical Christian (As well as my differences with the Babtist church, I tend to disagree with a lot of people).
That and the Quaker thing blows my mind. I don’t even like oatmeal.
I didn’t like the quiz, or how it determines its results.
#1, the directions for the last four pages were only given in the fifth to last page once; they were important enough that they should have been repeated on each applicable page.
#2, the only thing I answered something other than Not Applicable or atheistic/agnostic to was that we should do good, and my top three were UU (100%), Secular Humanist (98%) and Buddhist (90%), which I have many disagreements with. Non-theist (and how can you differentiate this and Secular Humanist?) scored 85%. Percentages dropped off quite precipitously after that.
Yep, I came up with the same as you, more or less. 100% Liberal to Mainline Protestant (which is what I am), 93% Liberal Quaker, and 92% Orthodox Quaker. To be honest, I always thought of myself on the conservative wing of mainline Protestantism due to my theology, but I guess not- cause I’m only 62% Evangelical/Conservative Protestant. Must be my liberal social views or something!
What really surprised me is that I have more in common with Seventh Day Adventists than conservative Protestants. And apparently just as much in common with Roman Catholics as Secular Humanists!
Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (100%)
Orthodox Quaker (93%)
Eastern Orthodox (90%)
Roman Catholic (90%)
Re 2, I am sure I put a strongly disagree to the Nonviolence Q, though if I accidentally hit agree, that would explain it.
Btw, nd_n8, I’m AoG, but have some real differences myself (I’m the most liberal person in my AoG, but still far to the right of the rest of society. L)
No real suprises for me. Though I didn’t really care for the obvious focus on the christian faiths, it was a little in your face to have up to 3 of 5 choices directly relate to that.
