The Slack religion is Church of the Sub-Genius.

Praise Bob!

Me too! Shalom!

My religion isn’t even listed - hmph.

It lists me as a non-theist/secular humanist/unitarian. I don’t mind being classed as the first two I guess, but not that latter.

No Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Or Church of Google.

who wouldn’t?

My results:

  1. Secular Humanism (100%)

I took this years ago and came up Quaker; I’ve changed a bit since then. Personally I can’t see myself being any sort of Christian.

Pretty funny, since I married into a Catholic family. The Thanksgiving debates are a yearly high point (not joking, they really are).

Call Ghostbusters!

Sorry, that’s six, I know.

This quiz has issues. For all deity- and sin-related questions, it groups “no”, “not sure”, and “irrelevant” into one response. One would hope that a site purporting to categorize belief systems would recognize the difference between atheists, agnostics and Deists.

That said,

  1. Secular Humanism (100%)
  2. Unitarian Universalism (99%)
  3. Theravada Buddhism (93%)
  4. Neo-Pagan (93%)
  5. Liberal Quaker (87%)
  1. Secular Humanism (100%)
  2. Unitarian Universalism (94%)
  3. Liberal Quakers (80%)
  4. Theravada Buddhism (74%)
  5. Neo-Pagan (72%)

That actually sounds fairly plausible, although I’m not sure how I can be 100% secular humanist and only 71% nontheist.

I tested 100% Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestant.

That’s pretty accurate!

  1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
  2. Unitarian Universalism (97%)
  3. Liberal Quakers (92%)
  4. Mahayana Buddhism (83%)
  5. New Age (80%)
  6. Baha’i Faith (74%)
  7. Reform Judaism (73%)
  8. Theravada Buddhism (70%)
  9. Secular Humanism (69%)
  10. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (67%)

This isn’t too bad of a quiz; I self-identify as an animist, which would technically fall under their concept of Neopaganism. I would, however, fit in much better at a UU church than most of the NP groups I’ve met; I have low tolerance for the infighting that goes along with many NP groups.

  1. Secular Humanism (100%)
  2. Neo-Pagan (90%)
  3. Liberal Quakers (86%)
  4. Unitarian Universalism (82%)
  5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (80%)
  6. Reform Judaism (73%)
  7. Taoism (73%)
  8. New Age (72%)

I’m amused that I can be anything to do with any kind of Prods or Jews, given that I rejected just about everything that is in any way fundamental to those beliefs! I’m also upset that ‘nontheist’ came in at 63%, but I blame that on the way questions such as abortion were framed in the US political way rather than as non-political medical issue. Maybe ‘I reject the question’ would be a good additional measure

Yeah, I was 100% on that. Guess all that Episcopal upbringing worked.
