I didn’t go in to work today, due to the federal government closing, so I’d like to read about other NoVa dopers (or anyone else) and their snow tales. Any accidents, loss of heat or cable TV? It was non-eventful for me; I just watched the news reporters report the same damn thing over and over again: Stay home if you don’t have to go out. What are your tales of woe?
My husband was over two hours late home. I shoved the front yard and it was about a foot or so. We’re in northern NJ. It’s ice cold outside right now with temps in the low teens. So far no power outage thankfully.
I was released at 12:15 when my office was closed and I received word that we are closed tomorrow.
