I hate Texas too, but I am stuck here for a while longer so I will keep just banging my head against the wall in hopes that someday things will change.
Last I heard, gay people can foster in Florida, but can’t adopt. This includes not being able to adopt kids they’ve been fostering.
Things will change alright, you’re vision will become blurry! 
I doubt you will be getting too many Texans to defend this.
Hell, I’m in Texas and I wouldn’t touch it with someone else’s ten foot pole.
I didn’t think it was Arkansas but yes it has already been deemed unconstitutional in another State, as it will be here.

But I must say that I rather enjoy living in Texas (climate, people, scenery…etc). Apparently I am the only person on the board who does.
It’s typically only the greater states that conjure up strong feelings for good or bad. California, Texas, and New York are the holy trinity of loving and hating. Who the hell really cares about Ohio, Nevada, Maine, or Wisconsin? Well, I like beer and cheese so Winsoncsin is pretty cool.
Florida only makes the list because of Elian and the 2000 election.

Don’t sell Florida short, there’s also the Terri Schiavo case, the state bans adoptions by gay people, the city of Inglis posting signs that Satan was banned from the city, a bar in the state holds a mullet (the fish) toss (okay that’s one is whimsical), the Jessica Lunsford case and many others.

Nah. I like living in Texas too. There’s a lot about Texas I don’t like, but being able to afford a house on a lot larger then a postage stamp makes up for a lot.
