Well, this Wednesday, my Thespian troupe (Troupe #575 on the International Thespian Society) gets to initiate our newbies. Generally, this involves some sort of skit or character that’s put on throughout the entire day, and is usually good fun.
The question I ask is this: Any more Thespians lurking about on the boards? If so, what troupe are you guys. I know there’s gotta be at least one of you (You know who I’m talking to. ;))

So, who does it on stage?
Jebus. I was initiated back in '88. I have -no- clue what troupe I was in, but it does bring back some memories.
Troupe #4062 Class of 2000.
I should tell you folks about Naked Time one of these days.
I was initiated in '77.
Don’t ask for details…I can’t remember what I had for breakfast…
Initiated 2003. Not sure of the troupe number. Did some ceremony involving candle lighting and a verbal oath.
how does one join this troupe?
Each school is different, but at mine you earned X amount of credits toward ITS induction. When you hit Y number of cumulative points, you were invited in. It didn’t really change anything except you got an asterisk next to your name in the programs. However, I got the feeling that at most other places, the ITS was a much bigger deal.
