I was a big Van Halen fan back in the day, late seventies, but kind of drifted away from them later on. At some point I read that they were doing shows with WVH on bass. Eh, I thought , they ditched Michael Anthony so Eddie’s kid could stand on stage with a bass while a real bass player did the bass parts. Recently I stumbled over this video and really liked it. Turns out WVH is a decent musician. Any thoughts?
That rocked. Yeah, I had no idea he was that proficient on various instruments. Catchy, hooky song too. Wonder did he write it as well? I see from the YT link that he has a debut album out on June 11. Will definitely check it out if it shows up on Amazon Music.
i think he looks very like his mother, and has a lovely first name.
That was excellent. And didn’t take itself too seriously.
Well he certainly makes the most of that one riff. Sounds pretty good though, definitely has the “old school” hard rock vibe. If the album follows suit he looks to give Greta Van Fleet a run for their money.
I liked it. And Wolfgang Van Halen must be one of the coolest names ever .
I wanna see that lineup perform live.
That totally fucking rocked!
He’s got a Bonham-heavy hand on the drums, the tempo stayed up for the whole song and his vocals never even got close to clean singing: I approve.
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Eh, just clicked on my own link and it starts well into the song. Best enjoyed from the very beginning.
The music was fine.
The camera work on the other hand gets an F-.
No earthly reason to shakily zoom in and out, other than pretension.
