The technical difficulties sound too bad, like it was this show’s one chance to really try and make an impression, and they dropped the ball.
Other than all that it seemed like a not-too-bad outing for 30 bucks.

Raw actually entertained me pretty good last night, I didn’t feel like it dragged too terribly much.

NXT was pretty underwhelming until the girls’ match at the end. The audience for some reason decided to be ironic hipsters and thoroughly bought into Tye Dillinger’s Perfect 10 gimmick.
FINALLY Caron Boring has some competition. The audience kept yelling “boring” when Baron was doing his usual squashes, then “THANK YOU JOE” when SJ put him to sleep, like Baron had been doing me.
The girls kicked ass in a match with few rest holds. They were too good for Sasha to heel over.
I started chanting “Corbin’s gunna BORE you!” in parody of the Joe chant. Would love to see them do that at a taping.
Oh yeah, and Becky Lynch in that outfit. Oh. My.

The women’s match was pretty good, but it’s hard to get into a match when I know the outcome. Also, can we please stop putting people on commentary without a script? Sasha was awful last night and the commentary team had no idea what to do with her, and she had no idea what to do on commentary.
Speaking of, for the first time ever I wanted the commentary team to shut up and call the match I like NXTs guys, but they are slowly turning int JBL, maggle, and king 2.0

So on September 10th she and I are going to Full Sail for 5 hours of NXT fun!

We got them online.
We just happened to be up in the 11:00 range and remembered a taping was that night. We basically said “Well we’re already up, let’s just try”. So come midnight we refreshed the page and I nabbed 2 GA admission tickets before they were sold out around 5 minutes after we finished the checkout process.
I have no idea where the seats are since it literally just says “GA” (it actually says GA Faculty discount, so I don’t know what THAT means), I’m assuming that we get there and they just assign us random seats.
We’re really excited and I was actually wrong on the price…it cost 10 bucks a ticket so we only ended up paying 20 bucks for it. Not a bad investment eh?

It’s also been reported that Johnny Gargano and Tomasco Ciampa, under those names, worked as a tag team at this week’s NXT tapings. Gargano is still under contract with Evolve, and Tomasco was under contract with ROH until just recently, so whether or not they’ll be sticking around is anyone’s guess.
Welp, I’m actually going to go to a Chikara show in Gibsonville NC. A couple of my co-workers wanted to check it out, so I’m going to tag along and park my brain at the door.
