Enjoyed the pre-show match because, I mean, are we FINALLY getting the Goldy/Starry(cody) mania match we’ve been begging for? It makes sense to have an old Goldy have only a few month program with Cody, I love it.
Which would be totally inapprops during the national anthem, of course.
If they follow through with it, maybe. Their match at Fast Lane was lackluster.
I dunno, so far in the Charlotte-Paige match, they’ve had to make some painfully obvious transitions (such as Charlotte inexplicably moving her arm back for the abdominal stretch) and some of the moves have been a bit clunky.
I suppose since we’re celebrating 25 Years of The Undertaker on this show, that the Brothers of Destruction will win their match against The Wyatt Family, but if they’re smart they’ll let Bray win for a change.
Not too bad of a Divas match, they ended up pulling it out at the end. Only weird spots were the ref inexplicably restarting the countout and Charlotte trying valiently to do a spear off the barricade, but not too bad overall.

So it’s Bray and Luke? That’s… anticlimactic.
Did they just mention how Undertaker won the championship in the first-ever singles match at Survivor Series… without actually mentioning the name of the person he won it off?
I’m assuming it was…Hogan? or Snuka?
Also that match was just a spot-fest, which was to be expected

So we get five months of Roman being screwed by The Authority once again, with Shaemus as the FotA? No thanks. Yeah, I know it supposedly leads to Reigns winning the belt for realz at Wrestlemania, but :smack:

From whom though I wonder…Sheamus? Or is Brock coming back to take it from him which would then lead to ANOTHER Reigns win at Rumble? I can’t imagine the fans going for that much.
I’m actually interested to see how this goes because conventional wisdom holds that RR will win at Mania, I just want to know how now.
The thing about SS matches is because of the large amount of participants, there’s less finisher kick-outs and more instawins, like over jobbers. So, more vanilla, less spice.
It’s interesting when you look at WWE’s PPV wikipedia and see how many main events Dean Ambrose headlined. He lost them all, but still… I liked the way he fought with torn shirt and “I’m in pain, but fuck you anyway” attitude.
Divas match was almost NXT level. Otherwise, SS was kind of meh.
Are they ever going to let Dean Ambrose win anything?!
But then the crowd might cheer for him instead of Roman Reigns, and we can’t have that.
