I wonder if “Hideo Itami” is trying to renegotiate that whole ‘name’ thing these days…
Dario was demonstrating the best part of being correct there, he was technically correct–he said his brother didn’t kill Sr, which is right.
Given how many random gangs of luchadors have gotten beaten up so far this season alone, I just assume they get them from gift shops or something. Or maybe used gear on eBay, I hear that’s popular these days.
Anyway, I noticed at the end of this, all the pages he was “reading” from were blank. So was he making all that shit up?
And how the hell did Marty the Moth become one of the more interesting characters, anyway.
I had thought that Vampiro had been kind of slowly going “off his meds” on commentary as the season went on–more and more references to darkness and violence as the shows went on, I assume this puts him back over the top.
Interesting, too–if this had been a John Cena squash, I think everyone would have been “Back to the midcard, jobber!” Yet here, despite pretty much the exact same level of squash, we all expect great things to come.
Can we just take one hour away from Raw and give it to LU? We’d probably get better shows out of both.
You know, with all of Catrina’s men having lost their titles, that weakens her necromancy. That means Konnan will dig himself back out of his coffin, and the bones in Muertes’s throne will reform back into Big Ryck and the old house band, and they’ll now be skeletons.
So maybe Rodriguez’z FX department will make some CGI magic and have the skeletons attack Catrina from the shadows in a backstage segment, and Konnan will come out with partially rotted flesh (not too big a makeup job for him at this point) and a rusty shovel. “You like El Muerte so much, chica? You can join him!” Day of the Dead is only a month away after all.
Apparently Reigns-Trips is going to No DQ, which is code for “Clusterfuck”.
They aren’t stupid enough to make both that match and the UT-Shane match total clusterfucks, are they?
That and it sounds like UT-Shane is going on last, which means I can just skip out and get some sleep at that point.
I’m pretty sure Catrina is already dead? Seems to be what they’ve been hinting at.
On that subject, I read information about the most recent set of LU tapings
Apparently Killshot had a friend who died in combat. So of course they now have someone to wrestle as that friend
Takeover pre-show’s about to kick off. Who’s here?
Oh holy fucking BALLS, was that a great match! Jordan Bagels/Revival was tons of psychology, spots, false hopes, exchanges. Geez, Vince shoulda walked straight out and signed both teams to the main roster on-air.
Does Nakamura always act this gay?
I don’t mean gay as in stupid, I mean literally “lets do a dude” gay
Who cares? He and Sami just spent twenty minutes murdering each other in the ring and it was glorious.
Try “flamboyant”. And yes. He’s awesome.
HA. Yes. That word is much better. And I disagree on it being awesome, it was a bit too much for me. He acted flamboyant without LOOKING it
Yes that was quite the match. I very much understand the situation, but I think it left a lot of greatness on the table by not actually meaning anything. I look forward to seeing him in a match that means something
Asuka wins via sleeper hold.
I hope Izzy’s parents made her go to bed early tonight.
Man, I thought the Women’s belt was the only one that for sure WASN’T going to change tonight.
I’m also relatively certain that Finn wins too…so they have 3 belts on 3 faces? Interesting. This makes me question the championship now
Finn: “Groovy.”
The crowd chanting about the refs cleaning up Joe is really pissing me off.
They are cleaning him up because he’s bleeding profusely from the face. They aren’t stopping the match, just let them work good lord
Finn retains. Wasn’t expecting that.
I’m actually enjoying it, it feels like it adds to the match. I’d say it was a work except Joe just kept on bleeding.
Bit of a meh ending, but hey, that’s still the best overall show since… I don’t know.
I second this notion.
Good match and a really good takeover.
…since Takeover: Brooklyn?
Every single match on this show was the match of the night. Your move, Vince.
If history is any indication, showing Kota Ibushi and Bobby Roode in the crowd means they’ve signed or are about to sign. A shame James Storm went back to TNA - we could’ve had a Beer Money reunion.
It’s basically just NXT all the way down, yes.
I really thought the hype would kill Nakamura/Zayn, and yet it topped it. Wrestlemania is really going to have to pull out the stops… So I guess here comes Cena again.
