Cool match between Cena & AJ. I liked the booking with the way Styles kept out-thinking Cena, like his brains triumphed over Cena’s brawn. The finishing part with The Club interference ensures the feud will continue.

Great match between Ambrose and Rollins. They finally have the best member of Shield as champion. Can’t wait to see how they screw this up.
Didn’t watch near as much of MiTB as I wanted to because of Game of Thrones (Ms. Cups’ influence) and Game 7 (that was mine).
But color me surprised that they actually pulled the trigger with Ambrose. A podcast I (used to) listen to said that Ambrose was going to win the Briefcase and cash it in, but I figured he would just lose it to Reigns. Love that he is a legit champion (if only for one day).
So I am woefully unaware of things like this. Who gets the championship rematch? Is it Seth or Roman?
Either way, I’m with TriPolar…it will be interesting to see how they screw this up.
They told a decent story and Ambrose finally gets the title, so I’m good with it.
I’m hoping that he gets a good run, but expect he’ll probably drop it at Summerslam in an ALL SHIELD Triple Threat.
Women’s match was sloppy and suffered from bad miscues on timing. Nattie squeaking along on the floor for the tag far too long waiting for Charlotte was starting to get absurd, and a couple of spots of unnecessarily standing about far too long waiting for a move.
So we have Charlotte, whatsherface, Nattie and Sasha all as heels? Becky as face. Summer as the disposable jobber. Everyone else MIA. Please, tell me about this awesome Women’s Revolution… 
But it does appear like they’re setting up for some Bayley. 
The women used to have epic matches in NXT. Now they’re back to the soap opera storylines that ruined the women’s division in the first place.
Ambrose isn’t a chump like Zack Ryder. He’s money. He should at least be able to keep the belt a couple of months. They’ll probably book a Triple Threat match of the former SHIELD.
WWE’s sending out feelers to former employees to pad out RAW & SD rosters, like Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Epico, Goldboig, Shelton Benjamin, etc to be enhancement talent like the Dudleyz, most likely. They’re also looking at LU stars. Didn’t they cut the roster to save money?
Maybe as short term one-offs, but it still makes zero sense to me.
They’ll still only have two shows, at 3 and 2 hours each. You don’t need a roster of 40 people per show or most of them won’t get any time at all.
Keep NXT’s women’s storylines with a grain of salt though because they have way less women on their TV appearing roster. The matches in NXT were basically “here are the two women who are fighting for the championship, and here are the two women who want to be #1 contenders.”
And when that wasn’t the case it was usually a match with no storyline, or just a “female attacks female for no reason”.
I wonder if pulling the belt off Reigns is an admission of failure.
Their ratings are dropping, their live attendance isn’t as hot, Reigns isn’t proving to be a merchandise machine and clearly is not a draw. Said a couple of weeks back that USA has to be unhappy with current ratings and trends, especially after their big new deal.
Guess we’ll have to see where he ends up in a couple of months after they finish the Shield WHC series. Whether he ends up feuding with Rusev for the US Title or if Vince keeps insisting on pushing him in the main event.
Oh, and want to make Ambrose much more relatable to your audience and the biggest Face of the moment?
As I said elsewhere, have him propose to Renee Young on the air tonight. Even if it is only a work.
Heck, have him give her the championship belt as an Engagement [del]Ring[/del] Belt.
Then of course, you have to show her wearing it later in the show. 
Chimera, you realize that just opens the door to “Kidnap Renee and turn her against Dean” angles don’t you?
It is even if they didn’t intend it. Rollins isn’t ready to be full time champ again, he needs more time, so they mess around for a while with Ambrose as champ, the audience is happy, Rollins takes over again at some point. Maybe they’ll figure out Ambrose was the best choice from the beginning.
I would love if they tried that, and in filming the vignettes, Renee just gave the heel the ‘you’re kidding me’ bitch face and said “you know that doesn’t work in real life, right?” 
I wouldn’t necessarily say that.
I think the crowd reaction is some of it, but I think that his run is also just plain up and it’s time for someone new to take over.
I will agree that a lot of this depends on his next feud. Keeping him and Seth away from the belt could be good for both of them while Ambrose faces KO or whoever
Except it kind of did work in real life; ask Chris Adams. Or Kevin Sullivan.
