Any WWE fans in the audience? (Part 1)

Damn good women’s match opener. I like the way Nia got to be the Big Show of the group.

That was Nakamura’s first loss in WWE, right?

Og damn it, why’d they have to end an awesome CW match like that? OK, to give them credit, it was foreshadowed, but it still felt like somebody squatted and drop a turd in the punchbowl.

OK, YUGE markout moment re: Braun’s elimination at the Man’s Two Hands of Ellmore!

WOOT! The Wyatts are relevant again! DEPP!

Can someone explain that last match to me?

Well, that ended in a massive suck bomb. Close window.

Well, I certainly wasn’t expecting that from the main event.

And why is his son shirtless?

I don’t think anyone can explain that last match.

How many zeroes were on Lesnar’s check to allow that loss?

“Guys, we’re running late. You got sixty seconds. Two spears and a jackhammer. Book it. Done.”

That’s how Goldberg’s first PPV match with HHH should have gone.

For a second I thought he was celebrating with James Ellsworth.

They went off the air almost 40 minutes early, though.

My money’s on “surprise Wellness suspension tomorrow morning”.

So many reasons why it could have gone down that way. My hypothesis: the match only existed to sell the video game and Goldberg has never been able to work and probably wasn’t willing to reacquaint himself with the concept of working a match after 12 years.

Apparently, some of the sheets are now reporting that Goldberg’s going to be in the Royal Rumble.

I’m all for that, assuming Goldberg is ready to actually have matches. Having Goldberg squash Brock is cool if there’s more to come, but if he’s going to headline Wrestlemania or something, maybe compete for a title, he’s got to be able to do a real match.

Well, that was… a thing that happened.

I wish they’d given a full-time performer that kind of rub from Brock Lesnar, but really, the only person remotely ready for that sort of rub would be, say… Shinsuke Nakamura. And I wouldn’t even give it to him until he spent a few months on the main roster.

Anyway, this was still a better match than Goldberg v. Lesnar at WM20.

That’s an audible they probably should have called for WM20. Would have been over before the fans had time to really hate on it.

I read that Goldberg hurt his shoulder? That might have been the reason for this, and I’m hearing the “real” match will be at Royal Rumble.

You gotta admit, Lesnar being squashed couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
