Yeah, that was actually pretty good. Enzo has gone full Heel. We’ll have to see how the audience responds. People already are not chanting along with him as much as they used to.
And I dunno, Bobby Fish reminds me of someone…

Yeah, I got the feeling Vince thought it’d be OK to have a South Asian go all American racist on an East Asian.
Did anybody get the survey in email? I voted up all the “show non-WWE stuff” choices. I hope this doesn’t lead to a WWE monopoly, but RoH has already become a WWE undergrad program anyway.
I did. I put WWE Directors Cut (having guest commentaries on past PPVs) on top, but I agree that the non-WWE stuff is more important than things like WWE scripted dramas (because we all know how well WWE does with things like that, based on its movies’ track record).
Aww man I didn’t get it.
Don’t they know how much I love filling out surveys?!?
Maybe your spam filter ate it. Or, they saw the mean things you said about whatshername, the Bayley mark.
Hey now, I’ve been perfectly fine with Izzy. I haven’t seen her family at Universal in months!
Didn’t Izzy turn heel on Bayley?
Yeah, she seemed to completely disappear from the NXT tapings.
Good. They shouldn’t focus on individual fans and make them famous. That only encourages attention seeking from other fans.
Any one play WWE tapmania on the tables/phones ? its different … fun in a time wasting way like the 8/16 bit wwe button mashers and the graphics remind me of the first 2 wwe arcade games
So Impact’s new digs will be at the Aberdeen Pavillion in Toronto Ontario Canada, where Anthem operates. I guess the audience will sit in lawn chairs. Shades of the Turner Network owning WCW and having them perform in swimming centers.
I switched to Impact Wrestling yesterday to watch my annual 30 seconds worth. Surprising to see so many empty seats, including up front.
So, last-minute predictions for No Mercy.
BORK LASER vs. BROWN STRONGMAN for the Spicy Nacho championship. It’s funny when you think about it - Braun has organically wound up in the monster babyface spot that Vince has been trying and failing for three years to slot Roman Reigns into. He should absolutely win here, but I’ve got a feeling Brock retains because Vince is absolutely convinced that Roman’s fourth consecutive WrestleMania main-event is the one the fans will finally get onboard for.
John Cena vs. Roman Reigns. For once, CENAWINSLOL would actually be the right call here. Cena’s been obliterating Roman on promo for weeks now, and it’s illustrated how weak Roman is when he’s forced to go off-script and how little street cred he has. Unfortunately, he’s going to win, because Vince is thinking “See? You see? You’ve been chanting for years now about how Cena sucks! Roman just beat him! That means you love Roman, right! Love him! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!”
Five-way for the womens’ title; Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Bayley. Sasha wins her fifth title, then immediately loses it on Raw the following night, because REASONS.
Jason Jordan (Angle?) vs. the Miz for the IC title. Jordan wins, and then they trade the belt back and forth for months because Miz has inherited Wade Barrett’s spot as “guy who gets to be IC champion when we can’t be bothered to come up with a storyline for it”.
Ambrose & Rollins vs. Sheamsaro for the tag titles. Two-thirds-of-a-shield retain.
Adrian Neville vs. Enzo Amore for the cruiserweight title. Enzo’s spent the better part of the last two months being treated like a clownshoes dipshit who can’t tie his shoes without getting choke-slammed through a table, so he wins.
Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt. Finn wins and then Creative throws a dartboard at a wall covered with 8x10s to decide that tomorrow Bray is going to start feuding with, let’s say, Lio Rush for no good reason whatsoever.
Elias Samson vs. Apollo Nation. This is the pre-show match. Elias makes his way out and discovers that for once he actually likes the town he’s rolled into, and tries to play a song about how great it is, until Apollo comes out and beats the Poughkeepsie out of him.
By all rights and sense, Strowman should win. But those things don’t generally factor into Vince’s booking, so I’ll go with Bork retaining and keeping the damn belt off the show for REASONS.
I’m actually going to go with Cena putting Reigns over as a ‘passing the torch’ moment. He’ll get up, give Reigns props and shake his hand afterwards.
I firmly believe that Miz will either win through the help of the Miztourage, or get disqualified by their actions and keep the belt. However, if they want to go with an eventual heel turn by Jordan against Angle, I’d suggest that he win, then Angle make him a ‘fighting champion’ so as to ‘not show favoratism’. He’d have a rematch against Miz by rights, then say, move on to a feud with Balor (which eventually leads back to Balor v. Miz for the title again).
I don’t think anyone thinks Ambrose and Rollins are going to lose, unless it is by some other tag team interfering to set up new feuds.
Finn loses to Wyatt for some reason (return of Harper?) to continue the feud. This is only the second PPV match. Finn wins the rubber match next PPV.
Elias has more of a future that Crews for REASONS*, so he goes over here.
Yes, Enzo wins. The mouthy chickenshit heel wins to hold the belt and enrage the audience until a hero emerges to unseat him. Frankly, I’m hoping that hero is Cedrick Alexander, but I expect it to (rightfully) take a month or two to get there.
Lol no. The joke about her turning heel on Bayley was because she was seen in Alexa Bliss gear, but that’s only because she was going to a Smackdown event and wanted merch for someone there. The internet saw and misinterpreted.
I’m going to say the Heyman turns on Brock. He’s done it before. He’s been complimenting Stroman a little too much. You read it here first. KnowedOutstradamus has spoken.
I walk with Elias tonight. I made a new picture.
Enblow gets ambushed by Curt Hawkins before the match and busts a pimple. Neville slips on the zit juice and gets pinned BECAUSE 205 LIVE NEEDS RATINGS.
Teh Wyatts reunite and interfere vs Finn. Then he teams with the Hardyz vs the Wyatts and resurrects the Broken Era. All involved would be perfect for this angle. Which means it will never *eeeeeever *happen. KnowedOutstradamus has spoken. Finn wins with the leather jacket.
Bayley wins the wimmen’s title so she can face Asuka and look all concerned and worried.
Jordan wins by DQ due to Mizterference, so the feud can continue.
Cena will prove all the haters wrong and put over Reigns, symbolically pass the torch, and then we get to see more coverage of his impending wedding over the next year than we want to see.
2/3 Shield wins and the Revival ambushes them. Or not.
Ah yes, I forgot the women’s match.
I’d say this is the perfect time for Nia to pin Emma (why else are those two in it) and take the belt, but then there’s the Asuka thing.
So either that happens, Nia wins and gets a short reign, or Alexa Bliss retains through shenanigans and then Asuka comes into the ring and takes everyone out. My favorite part of that would be Alexa screaming in fear as she faces Asuka. Frankly, I’d rather see the first option and give Nia a well deserved run. Use that time to build up Asuka for the main roster by having her blow through everyone else, starting with Emma and Mickie James.
Well, two for two so far. Miz with help from the Miztourage, Elias over Crews.
Damn, Cesaro keeps on working after getting his buck teeth knocked out. Give that boy a BONUS!
I have lost interest. Good night.
Well, I’d give myself 6.5 correct out of 8.
1/2 for Alexa Bliss retaining, wrong on the Bray/Balor match, which I actually missed because I went out for a quick ice cream cone.
