Well, I assisted in the drowning of sorrows. My roommates (I live with a friend of mine and his girlfriend/fiance) haven’t been getting along all that well lately (there’s a pit thread about from early January).
Anyway, long story short, they broke up sometime Sunday evening/Monday. Not sure of the full details of the situation yet, but I did perform the time-honored good-friend-breaks-up-with-SO tradition… I got him completely stupid drunk, then brought him home safely, into the waiting presence of the Former Fiance. I’m not sure how their conversation went, as I immediately went to bed; suffice it to say she’s not here tonight.
I’ll probably start another pit thread about it in a day or so when I get more information on the circumstances surrounding the last few days.
