Anybody interested in a Tea Swap?

Noprob! Glad it got there in one piece.

Ooooo Belgian Chocolate Rooibos! Sounds yummy…I’ll have to search for some!

Tea was sent today, dunno how long it’ll take to reach the US.

Hey, fellow tea lovers! Bigelow has a new Vanilla Chai. Vanilla + Chai = good.

Hey congodwarf, I got an ominous notice from the post office on my door saying there is “a parcel” waiting for me. It indicates it’ll be available for pick up tomorrow afternoon. It might be your tea…I’m also waiting for a package from Amazon.ca. I’ll let you know tomorrow night if it’s the package from you.

sweet. If it’s not, I’m gonna send another one tomorrow.

Arrgh, it was my Amazon package. Don’t send another - maybe yours is just delayed or held up for whatever reason. Let’s wait a bit and see.

My tea came today! Thank you so much casdave! I especially enjoyed the letter that had information about the tea merchant that you included along with your recommendations. The filters are appreciated too, as I didn’t have any like that and they’ll be good for travelling.

I’ve tried three of them and they’re so good. My husband likes them too. (He’s especially fond of Imperial Tea Room.) You are incredibly generous, casdave, and I am very grateful. If you ever want a refill on any of the teas I sent you, you just let me know.

Now, I feel guilty. Not only did I get those great teas from Amazon Floozy Goddess, I got more from casdave! Six beautiful tins of Taylor’s of Harrogate plus a box of filter bags. I also enjoyed the background story.

I never got tea. So much for these exchanges.

You will. I have plenty to share.

Glad you like the tea folks, makes it all worth the effort.

Baker, I have it boxed up and ready to go. I’ll mail it tomorrow.

Yeah, it looks like my package got lost. :frowning:

Certianly not I, until I went to Mackinaw Island, MI.

Good stuff too.

(and I like the tea, thanks)

I know I posted this earlier but it seems to have gone missing:

I’m going to send another package out either tomorrow or Saturday. It depends on whether or not I oversleep. If the first ever arrives, all the better.

Wow! Did I ever get some tea! Batsinma Belfry has sent me a fantastic selection of teas, from herbal teas to traditional. Two of them, the Darjeeling and the Irish Breakfast tea, are amongst my four very favorites(the others being Earl Grey and Lapsang Souchong) I got gingerbread tea, white tea(with pear), peach tea, and a selection of herbals. Also included were some filters, for teapots. I didn’t even know they made these.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

These will be wonderful to have now, as I’ve been on a diet and not drinking colas, yet plain water is boring.

I’m glad you like it!

I got tea!

Congodwarf sent me a package in lieu of the lost one (did that one come back to you?)

There’s some reeeeal good stuff in here:

Bombay Chai Tea
Royal Plum Decaf Tea
Numi Temple of Heaven (whoa) Gunpowder Green Tea
and a big bag of Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Squares.

And a cute card with a kitty and a teapot on it, on which she says they’re her favorite teas. Well let me tell ya, Congo, you have good taste! Especially on the chocolate…drool.

I can send you some tidbits as consolation…that’s quite a loss for you on the first package (did it have the same stuff in it)?

I’m so glad you got it. The first one didn’t come back. I suspect some customs agents had a tea party. I was so excited when I found that card - what with all the cat obsession going on with the members of this board

The first package had everything but the card and the plum tea. That was a recent discovery of mine, thanks to my own tea buddy. It very quickly joined the others as a favorite.

No need to send any tidbits. I’m happy it finally got there and you’re happy with the selection.

The Numi is my favorite of the favorites. If you like it, you should check out their website. They have a huge selection of bagged tea, loose tea, blooming teas and teasans (tea type drinks which aren’t actually made from tea leaves). They also have a cool info section with some history and the making of tea.
