This turned up on my Facebook feed today, and I want one! My Google-fu has failed me, however, and I can’t find the source.

I guess it might be a one-off kind of thing, but if it’s for sale and I can find it, I want one. I call upon the power of the Dope! Anybody know where I can find one?

Hmmm… unless there’s more than one painting, I respectfully disagree. The boards aren’t going in the same direction in the photos, and the color of the wood is different as well.

It think it’s just the rug itself that’s the painting (the text with it says even the tassels are made of paint), not the background.

This is the closest actual rug I could find, and while it has a similar concept, it’s not very close. Just for the hell of it, I added a link to this, which has stuff leaping out at you.

Martha Stewart has a how-to on making canvas rugs. You could probably get someone to handpaint it for you. Doesn’t our own OpalCat paint? If you’ve got money I’m sure someone has the talent.
