Anybody regularly eat a "good breakfast"?

The Army serves up a huge spread for breakfast, so when I’m on active duty, yes, I eat like a king. Usually, it’s bacon, juice, cereal, eggs, and either french toast or pancakes. When I’m not active, I eat 2 bowls of cereal while half-asleep.

FWIW

Typically fruit (most recently it’s been a grapefruit every morning, but it varies according to season), a slice of toast with butter (peanut butter since I got back from the States, but my supply is just about gone), and a cup of coffee. That seems to be just fine for me until I have lunch around 1pm.

I have a bowl of oatmeal (old-fashioned style) made with water, nonfat milk, and raisins. I sweeten it with Splenda. That’s a healthy meal: protein, fruit, whole grain.

I never said I don’t eat Pop-Tarts (though I’m surprisingly picky about them; the generics suck ass, and even in the name-brand there are only a couple of flavors I like). I just don’t eat them for breakfast. To me, Pop-Tarts are more a mid-afternoon snack. I toast them and put butter on the non-frosted side.

Well, the title is "Anybody regularly eat a “good breakfast”?, and after the first half dozen "yes"es, it’s a lot less likely that the Pop Tart eatin’ contingent will post, y’know? Try starting a thread called “Who eats crap for breakfast?” and I’m sure there will be plenty. In fact, there will probably be people from this thread you can answer yes to that one, as well. I know there’s been mornings even since I’ve started WW where I’ve grabbed a 2 point ice cream sandwich in the morning when running out the door!
