Huh, I theorized that’s because I sent the invite originally to MY Gmail account to get the invite-link.
But, I made another and sent it to my Yahoo account,

This happened to one of my past invitations, sent to a real person (that is, not myself). Can’t figure out what happened other than a Gmail hiccup, though I never got around to notifying them of the issue.
Another (maybe) strange thing – all my invitations have disappeared. For a while, I was getting extra invites (e.g., start with 6, use 4, and end up with 3 remaining), but then one day I log in, and POOF! they’re all gone. Into thin air. It’s been probably 2 weeks and I haven’t seen any new ones yet, either. Weird.
Yeh, they took mine away after I didn’t use 'em.
Well, last one.
Just tested it and it appears to work.
I think supply has now outstripped demand.
