There might have been a thread on this a little while ago, but I can’t remember. Anyway, I’ve decided I really want a Gmail account, so is there anybody out there who can pass an invite my way? I’m probably not the only one, so this thread is, of course, open to anybody else to ask for an invite as well.

Here is a site that takes donated gmail invites and gives them to people who want them. Worked for me and a few I know.

To clarify, we’re trying to thwart automated processes that traverse the web looking for email addresses to add to commercial spam lists.
