Good grief. I was down to 25 invites yesterday. Then I got back up to 50 yesterday night. Now I’m down to 19 and expecting to be at 50 again tonight.

How do you start getting invites? I haven’t checked to see if I have any yet, but iampunha (and other’s) invite situation looks almost out of control. How does that happen?

These Gmail invites are a Google scam. EVERYONE with a gmail account has lots of them. I’ve invited myself for a couple gmail accounts to use as throwaway accounts that I can use to evade spammers. Gmail is in beta only in theory. One of the nice things about gmail is the huge per message and mailbox size. 10 MB per message IIRC. I’ve used gmail accounts to send and receive MP3s with people. At the moment I am on DSL (there’s a local price war here for broadband access, and thus this is quite feasible.) I figure if I have bandwidth to spare, why not use it?

I don’t know if length of time with the account has anything to do with it, but I’ve had the capacity for 50 invites for a while now, and I think I’m in a majority of gmail users in that fact. The invites just keep coming, I think. Fortunately nothing bad happens to you if you don’t get rid of all of your invite codes.
