sent sent sent. Some of you will be getting invites, I think they are handing them out 5 at a time now, tho its still random. Based on my experience, of my three accounts the one that I use all the time gets the most invites, probably because of the 100% success rate. So if you guys could come back here and invite at least a couple dopers we can make sure that everyone on the board who wants one gets on.

They say in one of their “terms of services” pages or somesuch, that you aren’t supposed to create more than one account per user. Do you think they’ll enforce it, or relax it a bit when it goes out of Beta? I’d like to have one for real-world contacts too (using my real name), but as of now, it’s technically against the rules.

Heh. I wouldn’t feel bad either. I had just been planning to get one for my real name and one for my screenname (using one of the invites to my first account for the second…), and so I looked it up. I’m sure other people have done the same.

OH my god.
I just did the dumbest thing ever.
So I was registering for my gmail account, via the invite that alterego was nice enough to give me, right? I poked around with the available names, finally decided I’d just go with elfbabe and stick with my school email as the vaguely more professional one for a while. So I entered that, put in my usual password, then thought, “Oh wait! I should see if the name my boyfriend usually uses online is still available!” I typed it into the little box, then… well, I thought I clicked the test button. But… it turns out I hit enter.
I just signed up for a gmail account with my boyfriend’s username.
ARRRRGH! :smack: :smack:
I hope he likes presents.
And I hope he gets some invitations soon so I can make MY account.
