“The Unquiet Grave”?

[crawling out of hole] Never heard of it [/crawling out of a hole]

Off to grooveshark to find it.

For the manufactured product:

Is it intended for everyday use (as opposed to recreational use)?

Found it on Grooveshark. Listened breifly to several cover versions. I don’t think I have heard that song in my life.

Joan Baez, Solas, and Faith and the Muse have covered it, for whatever that is worth.

So much for the spoiler.

I didn’t see where any new wave 80’s bands sang it, which puts it out of my musical comfort zone. :stuck_out_tongue:

Kate Rusby has done it too. As have the Dubliners with Luke Kelly on vocals; I [HEART] that man’s voice. Ginger but not soulless.

Never heard of it before. Here are the lyrics: Kate Rusby - The Unquiet Grave Lyrics

And here’s Kate Rusby performing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQgiebndmbc

Grooveshark is AWESOME!

Yes it is, I haven’t been able to stump it and I know some pretty obscure songs.

No.

I’ll give a hint by saying it was originally intended for everyday use, but any surviving examples are likely “trotted out” primarily for special occasions that are recreational in nature.

Was it manufactured before 1950?

Would it be well-suited for driving on sand?

If and only if your answer to that question is “yes” then I ask whether the auto was manufactured to use an internal combustion engine.
