If you put your cursor over the username link, doesn’t it show the corresponding URL at the bottom of the Safari window, in the status bar? If you don’t have a status bar, there’s a way to show it from the View menu or something like that.

Right click/Properties. Look for the number after the “u.”

No, there are no URLs shown in the status bar except at the top of the page, and that’s the URL for the whole thread. It’s okay, though, because I’ve already figured it out.

My original join date was 1999 under a different user name. I started out on alt.fan.cecil-adams then moved to the AOL board, then signed up when the AOL board moved to the web. Looking at history I seemed to have burned through two user names that were based on my RL name before I re-registered under my current name, can’t remember why.

Obviously 32 lower numbers, see Lynn’s #2… But they either dropped for a while & came back so they lost the low numbers or they left for good. I have no clue
