Anyone besides me still watching "Prison Break"?

If so, wasn’t that a wonderful escape. The Powers That Be actually managed to create a great third season.

More powerful than the first time they escaped?

To me, Prison Break only had 2 seasons. Dr Sarah never died, Mahone, TBag and Belleck stayed in the Panama Prison, and Michael and Lincoln lived happily ever after.
Oh yeah, and it was ‘Lance’ who did the shooting during the ambush, and he quietly retired afterward.

Yes, great episode last night. These writers write very close to the vest, almost like Sorkin did on West Wing. They’re not afraid to make things messy. I love it.

I’m still watching. Decent episode last night, except …the use of the spare air bottles bugged me. I knew that’s what was in the buried cooler, but I also figured they mirculously never run out of air. Those things don’t even hold 60 breaths worth of air; you’d never be able to get out very far.

I haven’t seen the latest episode yet, just got home from work.
But I try to pretend that the first two seasons didn’t happen and then it’s quite an enjoyable ride. The stupidity comes from Scofield breaking out again, but since I’ve decided that it never happened, those are unaired prequel episodes, this season works very well on it’s own.

Also, is Panama this gorgeous? Makes me want to visit.

My favorite line: “All those shots and they only managed to hit your car three times?” Susan B. Anthony is the best new character.

I loved how Scofield set up T-Bag, Bellick and Lechero.

So what will happen to Sucre? And will Michael get to Gretchen before season end? And what will T-Bag (he’s a cockroach, isn’t he - he’ll survive a nuclear explosion) do with the bird watching guide? That is a lot of loose ends for one more episode - I wonder where the season finale will leave us for next season.

I thought the prison yard part was a little too over the top (that’s right, complaining about over the top in Prison Break, slap me now). Were the guards really that dumb? The rest worked fine for me.

At the end of last week, it was obvious that Michael had set-up Lechero and T-Bag; Bellick was just stupid enough again to get into the cross fire. Mahone understood that Michael still had a slew of aces up his sleeve, and stayed with him.

I may have missed it - what happened to basketball boy as he approached the road block?

Undetermined. We’ll see next week.

Thanks, Lib. Guess I didn’t miss it.

Even better was:

“That was a very sophisticated trick. Did you learn that from Home Alone?”
“Worked on you, bitch.”

Linc should have recorded at least one shot with the bullet hitting a tree or something.

I just realized there’s a number of characters on the show named after people on money: Susan B Anthony, Lincoln, and Benjamin Franklin.

That was fun! Most of this season has irritated me a bit, but I’m still roped in.

The thing about the spare air bottles that bugged me wasn’t how long they might last but that people who haven’t used them and don’t even know how to swim wouldn’t be able to buddy breath, much less even use the darn things. People instinctively hold their breath under water but it takes practice to breath in through your mouth, breath out through your nose and not suck in water through your nose.

Why did Whistler want to run so bad?

Obligatory: Sucre! Nooooo!

**I second this thought entirely. **

I was amazed that Prison Break made a GREAT 2nd season, but the third … totally sucked. Entirely different show now.

I was content to leave it as a one season offering. It is obviously that Fox has done all that they could ever possibly have done with Season 2.

With Sarah Tancredi out, I was out.

Heh, with Tancredi out, I was back in. I never liked her.

I wonder what Gretchen does for fun when she isn’t beheading people?

T-Bag was irrelevant this season. For the most part, so was Bellick, but the actor did a good job with what little he was given. Their roles seemed tacked on for continuity, not because they drove the plot.

I wonder how Bellick’s mom is doing. He hasn’t called or been home in a while.

There was that moment when Alex asked that the photo of his son be put inside the plastic bag and was told “Go to hell.” That was so touching. The little tiny photo is the only thing that means anything to him, and he still gets shot down.
