Anyone else averaging a post/day

I’m at 1.76 - I didn’t realize I was talking so much. Maybe I should shut up a while?

Wow, 3.64 posts a day for me.

0.74 and I doubt I’ll ever get to 1.00

I’m at 1.81. Now, where did I put that fractional p

I’m at .14. In golf, low score wins!

3.35 over the 11 years according to the stats. Lost some in the long gone “winter of our missed content”.

Made up for it over one six month period where I posted, as I recall, more than 2000 times over a couple of months. Pitted myself for that one and tried to throttle it down.

About 4 a day for over 11 years rain or shine. That takes more dedication and endurance than most things I have ever done.

That’s what she said.

I’m around 5. And I’ll bet at least 5 of my posts have been insightful and useful. The rest is pure MPSIMS.

3.58 for me. Pretty good.

3.16 per day over 11+ years. But the true rate over the last year is about 1/day day to my spending so much time helping Cecil out and not being here on the message board.

2.63, as of right before this post.

Now, if you wanted to ask me about my average post/day where I contribute something USEFUL…

0.39

Sometimes I don’t read or post for months.

5.83 per day, which is a bit up from what it used to be – not surprising as I’ve been unemployed without much else to do for 18 months.

Oddly enough my average is exactly 1.00. I’ve been a SD member for 8.5 years.

1.02 average over the last 7+ years.

1.88/day over almost 8 years. Shame it wasn’t billable time.

I’m at 1.65.

I wonder what dopers think is the threshold for lurker/non-lurker status? 0.2 posts per day would be my nomination.

I wouldn’t put an average number on it, because IMO with one post you change status. You don’t even have to register to lurk, but you do to post, so I would say with registration and one post you are no longer a lurker. But… if you register the same day as you post, your average is 1.0. If you register and don’t post until 5 years later, your average is… lower.
